Journeys made within places that once were home and journeys often repeated, continue to inform and shape the nature of my work and influence its development. Individual pieces and groups of works, often attempt to translate the experience of moving through a place – to capture a sense of something seen and something remembered.
Born in Glasgow, Karen MacInnes studied Fine Art at Staffordshire University and has a Master of Fine Art Degree from the Glasgow School of Art. She now lives in Leicestershire, England.
